Open Wide and say Ahhhhh

Normally kids don’t like going to the pediatrician. However, I do because mine, Dr. Haferbecker, is extremely nice, caring and serious about my health and happiness (two thumbs for all the doctors at CHOP and HUP, by the way). He also said I was super cute, which made him major popularity points and closer to the top of ‘the list’. Oh, and I learned he will have a son in a few weeks, and be a new Dad just like mine, so we have a few things in common which makes for a pleasant time.

On today’s visit, I got my weight and length checked and was told I am perfect (um, thought that goes without saying, but whatevs) in terms of weight and size, which is now at 8 lbs. 13 oz and nearly 20 inches. Completely fitting for my ‘bulk up for the summer’ plan, so watch out ladies! Between the floppy sunhat, the chubby cheeks and my suave looking swim trunks, I'll be pretty unstoppable. Now if I could just control my gas and my bouts of projectile spit up ...
